Notice - 2025 Check-in Process
Starting June 16th any guest of a member wishing to utilize the pool must be checked in at the pool check-in area prior to entry. The guest will need to be accompanied “in person” by the member on record and the member must show proof of membership with a valid ID. No exceptions will be made.

The Guest will have free use of the pool once they have been checked in by the member; the member is not required to be present at the pool once the guest has been properly checked in.

Posted Rules

• All swimming at Lake Wildwood is done at your own risk.
• No one should swim alone.
• Swimming is prohibited when lightning is present and for thirty minutes after the last lightning is observed.
• If present, lifeguards are responsible for enforcing safety rules and responding to emergencies. Parents or guardians must supervise their children.
• Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied at all times by a responsible person who is at least 18 years of age.
• Children 12-15 must be accompanied by a responsible person who is at least 18 years of age when no lifeguard is present.
• All persons having any contagious disease or infectious conditions are prohibited from using the pool.
• All children not toilet trained must have 3 layers of protection: swim diapers, plastic or rubber pants, and a lined bathing suit.
• All persons are required to shower before entering the pool area.
• Proper swimwear is required. No street clothes or shoes are allowed in the pool.
• Members and guests who are unable to swim proficiently and keep their airway above water without assistance are required to stay in the shallow end of the pool.
• Avoid swallowing pool water.
• Littering is prohibited. Trash receptacles are available in the pool area.
• NO food or drink is allowed between the pool and the deck drain other than Lifeguards on duty may have bottled water.
• Glass containers are prohibited. Violators will be charged $50 per glass container.
• Alcohol, tobacco, e-cigarettes, and gum are prohibited in the pool facility.
• No running or boisterous or rough play is permitted.
• Diving and jumping into pool allowed from diving board only.
• No loud music
• No toys, balls, rafts, or noodles are permitted in the pools. PFDs such as life vests and “swimmies” may be worn.
• No electronic equipment is allowed in the water.
• Lake Wildwood Association is not responsible for damaged, lost, or stolen property. Do not leave valuables and personal items unattended. A limited number of lockers are available for use at no charge. All personal locks must be removed each day by closing time.

USE OF SLIDE:
• Only one person at a time is allowed to ride the slide.
• Parent or guardian may not ride the slide with a child on their lap.
• All riders must face forward.
• Weight limit is 325 lbs.
• Children under 48” tall must be supervised at all times when using the slide.
• No more than 2 people on the ladder at a time.

USE OF DIVING BOARD:
• Diving is not permitted in water less than 5 feet deep.
• Only one person may be on the diving board at any time.
• Do not run and dive.
• Do not run on the diving board.
• Do not walk backwards on the diving board.
• Do not dive from the side of the diving board.
• Make sure water in front of diving board is clear of swimmers before diving.

Lake Wildwood employees have the authority to implement and enforce rules that are more stringent or that supplement those listed here. Staff has the authority to remove anyone from the pool area who is interfering with the enjoyment of others, not following the rules, or endangering the safety of others.

The provisions of the State of Illinois Department of Health have been adopted and are applicable to all pool operations of Lake Wildwood Association.
